With Vaclav Hladky available on a free transfer, there has been speculation that the former St Mirren goalkeeper will be snapped up by Rangers.
The 29-year-old has been linked with the Gers and Old Firm rivals Celtic in recent months. Supporters on Twitter think he would be a decent number two for Allan McGregor:
No risk, no brainer. Could let McCrorie go on loan to a Scottish premier club to get top level 1st team experience

My keeper of the year tbh. Harder being a dependable keeper in a weak side and I feel he played well. Better than our previous no 12

Take his as backup, loan McCrorie out to a prem team for this season and hopefully he’ll be ready to take over from Greegs next year.

McCrorie should be the backup

Maybe, I’d rather see young Robby McCrorie be back up ??♂️

Robby McCorie would be the next in line and there is a case to be made for the 22-year-old to be given a spot on the bench after his impressive displays out on loan at Livingston.
However, the shot-stopper has only made eight appearances in the Premiership and, as some supporters mention, it may be more beneficial for him to leave on a temporary basis once again in order to gain more experience.
With McGregor now 38 years of age, a long term replacement for the veteran keeper will be needed soon, but Hladky could prove to be a useful backup in the meantime.
