Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is not high up on the list of candidates to take over from Jose Mourinho at Tottenham, according to GiveMeSport.
The website claims that while the Light Blues boss’s name has been considered, Leicester’s Brendan Rodgers and RB Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsmann are thought to be Spurs’ two main managerial targets.
Gerrard is also not believed to be interested in leaving Ibrox unless Liverpool come calling. The 40-year-old is reportedly very happy at Rangers and it would take a lot for him to leave the Scottish club at this current time.
He is said to be very keen to lead the Gers into their first Champions League campaign for ten years and he is looking forward to defending the Scottish Premiership title next season.
With all that being said then, it appears Gerrard will be sticking around for a while yet; something that will please every Rangers supporter.
