Nathan Patterson’s Asking Price Revealed As Rangers Turn Down 5M Approach

Rangers right-back Nathan Patterson is valued at “more than double” the £5m that Everton offered for the 19-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.

It was reported at the weekend that the teenager had been subject to a bid from the Toffees and that the approach had been knocked back by the Light Blues.

Manager Steven Gerrard has stated that Patterson is worth a lot more than Everton’s first offer, labeling the £5m approach as something “out of a joke book”.

Whether the English Premier League club will come back to the table before the end of the month, we shall have to wait and see, but the Gers will be very reluctant to lose the fullback.

Patterson is one of the most promising players to come through the academy in recent years, and considering he is a diehard Rangers supporter, it is highly unlikely that he would be interested in leaving Ibrox anyway.
