Rangers forward Kemar Roofe’s cameo performance against Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup on Sunday kind of sums up his career at Ibrox.
The 30-year-old came on as a sub, scored the winner in extra time before going off with a suspected shoulder injury a few minutes before the end of the match.
While fans on Twitter know Roofe is a good player, there are resigned to losing the Jamaican international to another long spell on the sidelines:
My 2 year-old is more robust than Roofe.

Manager Michael Beale was hopeful that Roofe didn’t pick up a serious injury versus the Dons, and there is optimism that he didn’t dislocate his shoulder, although the club won’t know the extent of the damage until the player undergoes a scan.
Roofe has missed no less than 60 matches due to fitness problems since he arrived from Anderlecht for £4.5m two and a half years ago. Supporters will be keeping their fingers crossed that he returns to action as soon as possible.
