Rangers congratulated Alfredo Morelos on his 26th birthday yesterday with a Twitter post but, while some supporters did wish the Colombian well, many were also preoccupied about the player’s future.
The striker has just a year left on his contract at Ibrox and, even though the Bears are reportedly holding talks about extending his stay in Scotland, the club are prepared to let him leave if he doesn’t put pen to paper on a new deal.
Fans on Twitter are very much hoping that Morelos will commit himself to the Gers for the long-term:

Reports yesterday suggested that there are a number of English Premier League clubs who are keeping tabs on the forward’s situation, including the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle,ย West Ham, Brighton, Fulham and Nottingham Forest.
La Liga giants Sevilla are also said to have registered their interest in Morelos but, for the time being, no team has made a formal bid, and supporters will be hoping it stays that way.
