It’s fair to say that the Ibrox pitch wasn’t in the best of conditions before the season was suspended but Rangers have used the break in football in order to rectify the situation.

Certainly, the sunny weather over the past couple of months has helped, while the lack of football has also given the ground staff the opportunity to carefully restore the pitch back to perfect condition.
Manager Steven Gerrard and his players will be happy with the transformation, although it remains to be seen when the team will be able to play on the surface once again.
Gers chief executive Stewart Robertson has said that the second leg of the Europa League tie against Bayer Leverkusen could be played in early August so friendlies will likely be played in the run-up to that game.
