Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo says he is glad to be back on the pitch following the club’s first pre-season friendly against Hamilton a few days ago.
It has been the best part of seventeen weeks since the Gers last played a game of any kind and the Nigerian international took to Twiter to express his delight that football has returned:

Aribo’s first season with the Gers was a mixed bag, it is fair to say. There were certainly more than a few moments of inspiration from the 23-year-old but he will want to improve on his consistency during his second campaign at Ibrox.
Nine goals in 48 appearances is certainly not a bad return for your first season, and there is no doubt that he could have reached double figures if the campaign hadn’t been curtailed.
