Livingston Vs Rangers Match Preview and Injury News

Michael Beale’s Rangers are gearing up for an away day at Livingston on Saturday. At this stage of the season, every game is crucial – can the Gers keep up their title pursuit?

This game will mark the third time that Rangers and Livingston have played each other in the Scottish Premiership this year. The first meeting resulted in a Rangers win, despite being 1-0 down at half time. Two quick fire goals from Scott Arfield and James Tavernier stunned Livi and secured the three points for the Gers.

The second game wasn’t quite as fruitful for the Light Blues. Again, they trailed early on and struggled to gain a foothold in the game. A red card for Morgan Boyes allowed Rangers to press forward and nick a last minute equaliser, but it was hardly convincing stuff. Can Rangers win the third game, or will Livi get their revenge?

Filip Helander, Steven Davis, Ridvan Yilmaz and Nnamdi Ofoborh will all definitely miss out on this weekend’s fixture against the Lions. Tom Lawrence, John Souttar and John Lundstram could all potentially be ready to play in that game, but it looks doubtful at this stage.

That’s the end of the bad news – Kemar Roofe, Connor Goldson and Alex Lowry should all be fit to play against Livingston. Ianis Hagi is ready to feature, too, but he’s unlikely to play the full 90 minutes due to his lack of match fitness.
