Liverpool Make Decision On Ryan Kent’s Future As Rival Club Look To Head Off Rangers

Liverpool will look to keep winger Ryan Kent if they can’t offload him on a permanent deal, according to reports in England. It is believed the Reds have slapped a £10m price tag on the Ex-Rangers loanee.

The 22-year-old was not involved against Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday, and the player seems destined to leave Anfield if a deal can be agreed.

Kent’s asking price would be out of Rangers’ price range and Liverpool are hopeful that Leeds will make an offer for the player before the English transfer window closes on Thursday.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa is keen on signing the winger, and he could use the £7m from the potential sale of Kemar Roofe to Anderlecht in order to finance the move.

If Leeds don’t manage to secure Kent’s services before the deadline, though, Liverpool may have to consider alternatives.

They have already decided to loan out Harry Wilson rather than sell him outright, and it could lead to Rangers returning to the fray for Kent before the end of the month.
