Kenny Miller Claims Rangers Will Make “At Least” Three Signings This Summer But Rules Out Squad Rebuild

Ex-Rangers striker Kenny Miller believes manager Michael Beale will only be looking to make two to three additions to the squad at the end of the season.

With the Light Blues nine points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership table, and having lost the League Cup final to their Old Firm rivals, some have called for a significant overhaul, but Miller says Beale will make just a few changes to the team:

“I would imagine at least another two or three will come in the summer that are Michael’s players. People will move out as well. He has already talked about there being too many players in the squad.

“On a day-to-day basis that maybe becomes unmanageable in training. He will definitely have not a rebuild, but a refresh in the squad in the summer.”

The main issue at the weekend wasn’t necessarily a lack of quality. Beale’s men simply didn’t get going until they were 2-0 down, which was inexcusable in such an important game.

It could, therefore, be argued that a change of personnel is required to transform the mentality in the dressing room. Beale may, however, see things differently.

For now, the focus will be on finishing the season strongly by trying to keep the pressure on Celtic in the league and going all the way in the Scottish Cup.
