Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has revealed that Connor Goldson apologised to his teammates in the dressing room following his mistake in the 1-0 defeat to Hamilton.
The 27-year-old dwelled on the ball before being pushed aside by Accies striker David Moyo to score the winning goal at the weekend.
However, despite Goldson owing up to his mistake, fans on Twitter feel it was one too many from the Englishman and he should be dropped:
He, & one or 2 others, simply arent good enough. It’s not his fault. The Jersey is quite simply too heavy for him.

It would be tempting to recall Filip Helander in place of Goldson but the game against Ross County on Sunday has probably come too soon for the Swedish international, who played his last game in December.
The alternative to partner George Edmundson would be Nikola Katic but after his calamitous display against St Johnstone last month, it would be difficult to say which one out of the Croatian and Goldson is lowest on confidence at the moment. Gerrard will be the man who will have to make the call this weekend.
