“I Would…” Glen Kamara Makes Frank Admission As He Is Asked About His Rangers Future

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara has refused to rule out leaving Ibrox for a fresh challenge in England or further afield.

The Finnish international says that, while he is more than happy with how things have gone during his time with the Bears, he wouldn’t say ‘no’ to a transfer, even if it meant joining a team on the continent:

“I would never say that I wouldn’t go and play elsewhere in Europe. I would like to play in the Premier League, but if there was somewhere else that would be good for me, I would go there.”

While Kamara was previously linked with a host of teams in the Premier League, including his former club Arsenal, speculation has somewhat died down over the past year, especially after he signed his contract extension in September.

It’s probably fair to say that the 26-year-old’s form last season wasn’t quite up to the same standard that he had managed previously and, unless an offer comes along that is too good to turn down, it is very much expected that the player will still be at Rangers for the start of the new campaign.
