“He Wants To Move On And Progress” Kenny Miller Expects Key Rangers Star To Leave

Former Rangers striker Kenny Miller says he is expecting Alfredo Morelos to leave Ibrox when the transfer window opens.

The former Scottish international doesn’t have any insider knowledge but he says he gets the feeling the Colombian international is angling for a move away from the club:

“I think he’ll go. I’ve no information on that, I don’t know where he’ll go. But the noises even from Alfredo over the last few seasons I think he does want to move on.”

“I think that’s quite obvious, I think he does love it at Rangers but he wants to move on and progress.”

Morelos has stated on more than one occasion that he has ambitions of playing in a bigger league, but the Gers won’t let the 23-year-old go on the cheap.

West Ham, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Leicester and Crystal Palace are said to be among the interested clubs but with the Premier League transfer window only expected to open in August following the end of the league season, it could be a while before any team makes a move for him.

After scoring 29 goals this season, Rangers supporters will certainly be hoping the club turn down potential suitors for Morelos and keep the Colombian for another season at least.
