“He Is Frustrated” Agent Of Rangers Star Reveals He Wants Clarity On His Future

The agent of Rangers winger Eros Grezda has revealed that he expects to discuss the player’s future with the club following a difficult first season in Scotland.

The 24-year-old joined from NK Osijek last August for £2m, but he struggled to hold down a first team place under manager Steven Gerrard due to ankle and knee injuries,

Ives Cakarun confirmed there is interest in Grezda from other clubs and he says the player is frustrated by the situation and wants clarity about his future:

“He will be happy if he has to stay with Rangers but if not, this is life you know. He still has a contract with Rangers and really at the moment, I cannot give any concrete answers. We will make the decision with the coach.

“He will not be moving back to Croatia. All I know is he is frustrated because he did not prove himself in the right way at Rangers.”

The Albanian international could have a battle on his hands for first-team opportunities next season if Sheyi Ojo is brought in on loan.

Rangers are said to be closing in on signing the Liverpool winger, who would compete with Daniel Candeias and Grezda for starts on the right flank.

Grezda did play a lot of his games from the left-hand side under Gerrard, though, so the departure of Ryan Kent after his loan spell may afford him more chances.
