Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has confirmed that Charlton midfielder Joe Aribo is having a medical ahead of a move to Ibrox.
It was reported over the weekend that the Light Blues had won the race for the 22-year-old.

That 4-3-2-1 with kamara, Jack defensive mids, Arfield aribo and docherty behind Alfredo would be deadly.

Aribo will be the club’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window if the deal is confirmed.
There was some doubt over the move late last week when Charlton manager Lee Bowyer tried to persuade the midfielder into staying at the Valley.
However, Aribo reportedly told the Addicks boss on Friday that he had decided to move to Rangers instead.
The central midfield player is out of contract at the end of this month, but due to his age, the Gers will have to pay £300,000 in compensation.
It could well be a shrewd bit of business by Gerrard, though, with a number of English Premier League clubs, including Southampton, having shown an interest in the player.
