Gerrard Makes Frank Admission About His Rangers Future And His Ultimate “Aim” In Management

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has made it clear that his goal is to become Liverpool manager at some point in the future. In an admission which will not surprise either Gers or Reds fans, the 39-year-old has now explicitly expressed what his ultimate ambition is:

“My aim, dream would be to manage Liverpool Football Club, of course it would.”

Gerrard has shown himself to be a knowledgeable and tactically aware coach since his arrival at Ibrox, but he is still a young manager learning the game.

Rangers took a risk when they appointed Gerrard in 2018 but so far, it appears to be paying off handsomely. They are closer than ever to overhauling Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership and many feel it is only a matter of time before the Light Blues get a trophy or two under their belt.

Supporters will be hoping the Englishman can also seal title number 55 and win a few more titles before he does eventually make the move to Anfield.
