Signing Lingard Is Low Risk
Due to his lack of match time, a loan deal is the likeliest option for the England international if United decide to trigger an extension to his contract for another season.
Lingard’s current deal expires in the summer so if the Red Devils don’t decide to take up their option, he could be available very cheaply in January or on a free transfer in the summer.
