‘Exciting Prospect’ ‘Good Signing’ ‘Boy’s A Player’ – Rangers Fans Happy With Club Set To Secure 20-Year-Old On 3 Year Deal

Rangers are poised to sign Motherwell winger Jake Hastie, according to reports in the local media.

The 20-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and the player has reportedly agreed a three-year deal, with an option to extend his stay for a further year at Ibrox.

Motherwell will be due compensation because of Hastie’s age but the Gers will secure the midfielder’s signing for a nominal fee.

Fans on Twitter are optimistic about Hastie’s potential following a good second half of the season with Motherwell:

Hastie spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Alloa Athletic, scoring three goals and providing four assists in 23 matches for the Championship side.

After returning to Motherwell in January, he started to hit the back of the net on a regular basis, having scored six goals in 13 league games.

Hastie generally plays on the left wing, but he is equally capable of playing on the right-hand-side, cutting in onto his stronger left foot.
