Borussia Monchengladbach are interested in signing Rangers attacking midfielder Ianis Hagi, according to reports in the Romanian media.
The 24-year-old has been sidelined for most of the season with a knee injury and he has only made one start for the Gers as a consequence.
However, Hagi has been fit for the best part of two months and his lack of game time under manager Michael Beale has prompted speculation about his future.
The Romanian wasn’t called up by his country for the European Championship qualifiers against Andorra and Belarus this week, and he will need to feature more prominently for his club to get back in the picture at international level.
It appears Gladbach could be the team that will provide Hagi with the minutes he needs. At the moment, it isn’t known when the Bundesliga side will make a formal approach for the player but it is something to keep an eye on ahead of the summer transfer window.
