Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has been handed the Scottish Football Writers’ Association Manager of the Year award for 2020/21.
With the Light Blues having won the title for the first time in a decade, combined with the fact that they are still unbeaten with two games to go, it isn’t a surprising announcement.
Gerrard is fully deserving of the accolade and reacting on Twitter after the winner was confirmed, supporters were quick to praise the Gers boss for his contribution to winning title number 55:

Of course, Gerrard won’t be reflecting on the accolade for too long. He will be fully focused on ensuring that the Scottish champions end the season without defeat.
Rangers face Livingston this evening before the final game of the campaign against rivals Aberdeen at the weekend. The team will undoubtedly be determined to secure their place in history, by ending a memorable season unbeaten, and fans will be ecstatic if they manage to do so.
