Rangers have confirmed that they will sign Ianis Hagi on a permanent deal from Racing Genk when the transfer window opens.
The 21-year-old has been linked to Lazio and Cagliari in recent weeks, but the Romanian can now focus on performing for the Gers, with his future now having been sorted out.
The Light Blues did have an option to buy Hagi for £4.5m, but it is believed that the Scottish club managed to secure him for a fee in the region of £3m.
Supporters on Twitter are delighted that the player will be staying at Ibrox:

It seems like an excellent piece of business by the Bears, with the player giving Steven Gerrard a much needed creative spark in the middle of the park, which could help them overhaul Celtic at the top of the table.
The £3m fee also means that Rangers do have the chance of selling him on for a sizeable profit in the future if he reaches his potential at the club.
