Rangers manager Michael Beale is targeting a move for Fulham midfielder Josh Onomah, according to reports in England.

The 25-year-old has been on Beale‘s radar for a while and there is a good chance that the ex-Tottenham player will be available for a low price during the January transfer window.

Onomah is not part of Cottagers boss Marco Silva’s first-team plans and, with the midfielder’s contract expiring at the end of the season, a departure next month is on the cards.

The Gers will, though, have a battle on their hands to snap up the Englishman, with several Championship teams also believed to be interested in signing him.

It should be pointed out that, despite his age, Onomah has only made 129 senior appearances in his career. A lot of that is due to injury and having spent the last two and a half seasons as a bit-part player at Craven Cottage.
