BBC Journalist Claims Beale’s Appointment Could Be “Good News” For Two Rangers Players

BBC Scotland reporter Kheredine Idessane believes Rangers youngsters Alex Lowry and Zak Lovelace will feature more regularly under Michael Beale.

The former QPR boss has been officially named as the Gers’ new manager and Idessane suggests it could be “good news” for the two teenagers:

Lowry, in particular, has been widely praised by supporters and there has been a big clamour for the 19-year-old to be given more first-team minutes, having already scored two goals and provided two assists in eight senior appearances.

A knee injury has hampered his season somewhat but the midfielder is fully fit now and he will be available for selection after the World Cup.

Lovelace, meanwhile, hasn’t been handed his first-team debut yet but, since arriving from Millwall back in June, the young forward has scored nine goals for Rangers B, as well as another two for the Under 19s in the UEFA Youth League.
