Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo played a pivotal role as Steven Gerrard’s side secured a comfortable 3-0 win away win against Hibernian.
It was a tetchy affair with the home side having Ryan Porteous sent off for a challenge on Borna Barisic which sparked a row in the technical area. However, Aribo’s display was the highlight of the night.
Fans on Twitter have been praising the Nigerian’s performance:
Another top class performance ?

Aribo has shown a number of glimpses of what he can do since his arrival in the summer but yesterday evening was by far his most complete performance in a Rangers shirt.
As well as blocking Hibs goalkeeper Ofir Marciano’s clearance for Ryan Kent to sweep home with just four minutes gone, he then got on the scoresheet himself four minutes later.
An excellent exchange of passes with Ryan Jack on the right flank led to Aribo slotting home, firing in a shot with his left foot. The victory at Easter Road puts the Gers just two points behind Celtic in the table.
