‘Announce Him In The Lineup’ ‘Could Cause Carnage’ Rangers Fans On Twitter Excited At Club’s Latest Injury Update

Rangers winger Jordan Jones is back in training after nearly three months out due to a knee injury he sustained in the Old Firm derby.

The Northern Irish international has not played since injuring himself after a reckless tackle on Moritz Bauer in the 2-0 defeat to Celtic at the beginning of September; a challenge that also got him a red card.

Supporters on Twitter are delighted to see that Jones is back in contention:

Jones does generally play on the left-wing so it will be interesting to see if he does swap flanks in order to accommodate Ryan Kent in his favoured position.

Neither Brandon Barker nor Sheyi Ojo have really performed to expectations on the right flank, with Scott Arfield having started in the position against Livingston in the 2-0 win before the international break.

Although Jones is unlikely to start versus Hamilton, manager Steven Gerrard will be delighted to have another option in the squad.
