Alan Brazil Makes Controversial Prediction About Steven Gerrard’s Future At Rangers

TalkSPORT presenter Alan Brazil has claimed Rangers manager Steven Gerrard will leave Ibrox at the end of this season.

The 41-year-old is starting his fourth campaign in charge of the Light Blues but Brazil predicts he will decide to step aside before his contract expires in 2024:

“This’ll be his last season though, he’ll be leaving.”

Brazil is a Celtic supporter so it is probably him hoping rather than expecting Gerrard to move on after four years with the Scottish champions.

The Rangers boss has always said he is in it for the long term and many feel he would only leave the club if the manager’s job became available at Liverpool.

Gerrard has been linked with roles at Wolves, Tottenham and Everton in recent months, although the Liverpudlian firmly rejected claims he would be interested in managing the Toffees earlier this week.

With Jurgen Klopp likely to stay at Anfield until his own contract ends in 2024, that does seem the likeliest time for Gerrard to part ways with his current team.
