Rangers midfielder Aaron Ramsey has said that he has put off talks about his future until after the Light Blues play their final couple of fixtures.
With the Gers set to play in two major finals over the next week, Ramsey says he is simply focused on ending his season on a high:
“That’s to be decided at the end of the season, there is no update on that yet. I’m just looking forward to the final few weeks here and hopefully making it a very memorable experience for me. I’m sure there will be conversations to be had after the season is finished but right now I’m just focused on trying to win these two competitions with Rangers.”
Some reports in Italy have said that Rangers have already decided not to keep Ramsey, with the former Arsenal player expected to return to Juventus once his loan spell ends in a couple of weeks’ time.
Injuries and some rather underwhelming performances mean the Welshman hasn’t really had the impact that manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst would have wished after signing the midfielder on a temporary basis back in January.
However, if Ramsey can make a telling contribution in either the Europa League or Scottish Cup final, then many supporters would feel that recruiting the midfielder for six months was well worth it.
