Rangers attacking midfielder Ianis Hagi scored the winner as the Light Blues overcame a stubborn Hibernian side last night. It was the Romanian international’s full debut and while he struggled in the first half, he more than made up for it with his goal six minutes from time.
Supporters on Twitter have been hailing the 21-year-old’s performance and they are hoping there is more to come from him in the future:

It was an extra special goal for Hagi, with his father Gheorghe celebrating his 55th birthday on the night. There has been a lot of pressure on the youngster to live up to his parent’s legacy, and while there is a long way to go, he certainly couldn’t have asked for a better start.
The victory for Rangers keeps them seven points behind Celtic, with a game in hand, after their Old Firm rivals also won last night, as they romped to a 4-0 victory over Motherwell.
